Where our mission began

Every resident deserves to feel like family.

Long before Hillcrest Living Center opened its doors, caregiving was already deeply personal for Kiran and Kanwar. In both families, family members served as the primary caregivers for their grandparents, allowing them to remain surrounded by familiar faces, meaningful routines, and the comfort of home.

Through these experiences, Kiran and Kanwar learned that exceptional care is about far more than meeting daily needs. It means listening closely, preserving dignity, building trust, and helping each person feel safe, respected, and genuinely valued.

As their careers in caregiving and nursing grew, they became increasingly aware of the distance that can sometimes exist between professional care and the warmth of a home. They believed seniors should never have to choose between dependable support and a true sense of belonging.

That belief became the foundation of Hillcrest Living Center and Senior Care Home Fresno. They created intimate residential homes where thoughtful care, meaningful connection, and resident advocacy are part of everyday life. Their mission is to care for each resident with the same patience, respect, and devotion they would want for their own grandparents.

The owners bring more than a decade of combined experience in caregiving and nursing. One of our licensees, Kanwar Singh, is a Nurse Practitioner with extensive healthcare experience. His advanced knowledge, together with our team’s hands on caregiving experience, helps us recognize changes, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, and advocate for timely and appropriate care.

At Hillcrest, caring for seniors is more than a profession. It is our passion, our purpose, and a privilege we carry with heart.
