Our family has been so grateful for the care and compassion Hillcrest Living Center has shown to our dad. This was a very difficult decision, but with advanced Alzheimer’s, Dad needed full-time help.
Aaron from the Placement Care Institute jumped in to help us find the right fit. He strongly believed that, given Dad’s personality, a large care facility would not be in his best interest. We wanted Dad to feel at home, be able to socialize, and feel like part of a family.
With our busy schedules, we also wanted Dad close by so we could drop in and visit anytime. With Aaron’s help and a lot of prayer, Kiran from Hillcrest contacted us to show us a home that just happened to be close to our daughter’s high school. What a blessing!
Kiran walked alongside us as we prepared Dad to move from our house to Hillcrest. She helped make the transition smooth and respectful—not an easy feat when dealing with Alzheimer’s.
The staff are kind and patient, and they always treat Dad with dignity and respect. It is very clear that they genuinely care about the residents and work hard to create a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment. The team keeps us informed, responds promptly to any concerns, and goes above and beyond to make sure Dad is happy and well cared for.
Dad is also under hospice care, and Hillcrest works closely with his hospice nurses. This reassures us that his health and well-being are completely covered. Knowing Dad is in such caring hands gives our family real peace of mind.
Whenever we visit, Dad says, “I’m in good hands here.” The staff tell us that he is quite helpful around the house and with the other residents—which is right up his alley because he wants to feel needed. He always has a big smile on his face and loves hugs. He has been more like himself since moving into Hillcrest. This was definitely the right fit!

Since she has been in your home, she has been doing the best she has in a long time. She has maintained her weight, is eating, and is walking again. At one point, she weighed only 133 pounds and would not eat or walk at all.
Seeing how well she is doing now means so much to our family, and we are truly grateful for the care she has received.
